EVENT ENTERTAINMENT AND CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
The Tasmanian Talent Agency is a ‘central service’ with access to various, professional live entertainment acts. We assist event coordinators to create striking, emotive, jaw dropping concepts supported by premium Tasmanian entertainment artists.
Our Performing Artist database and Concept Development experience includes, but are not limited to acts such as;

PAYROLL SERVICE FOR PRODUCERS
Taking the 'employee/employer' obligation away from the Producer and in to our hands.
TTAIPS is a Tasmanian Based, intermediary pay service for Screen Producers, Creative Agencies and Production Houses who have engaged Actors, Crew and Performing Artists for employment. Whether independent or through an agency, this service can be engaged for all crew and or talent on your project.
Why is this required?
Under Australian Law; artists performing a promotional activity are required to be paid as employees. The producer of that activity is deemed by default ‘the employer’.
Establishing what Industry Rates are required, processing PAYG Withholding, Superannuation obligations, Workers Compensation, Contractual, Rollover and Residual agreements can be lengthy, expensive and complex procedures for some producers and agencies.
TTAIPS has been established to allow for this process to be handled external to the creative process and thus give Producers, Production Houses and Creative Agencies more space to cement their creative process without the logistics of paying talent and crew getting in the way.
By entering into an agreement with TTAIPS, you are entering into a tri-party agreement where-by you are engaging TTAIPS to become the official employer of the Talent/Crew on your behalf.
