The team at Tasmanian Talent Agency (TTA) are passionate about representing a diverse range of talent and ensuring artists are professionally represented in their individual fields.
We have a long-time relationship with many local and interstate Producers, Casting Directors and Event Coordinators and work hard to ensure our talent are seen by these people as much as possible.
Main submissions for our talent are in the Commercial, Photographic, Runway, TV Series, Film, Promotional and Live Event Entertainment spaces.
We work on all major industry platforms like Showcast, Casting Networks, Altai and more as well as hold our own internal database that many of our local clients like to view when thinking of a particular project.
We will strive to keep your best interests at the forefront as we negotiate and handle all contracts, payments and roll-overs on your behalf, and where required, we will assist you Acting Coaches, recommending Training Opportunities, Photographers, or Industry Professionals.

IGNITE THE SPARK.....
At TTA we welcome those who have always been interested in experiencing the Arts industry. No experience? No problem! At first we can submit you for suitable roles as Extras/Background Artists, Featured Extras, Non Speaking roles and general Promotional Staff. If you would like to expand your experience level we can point you in the right direction in regards to training.
ACTORS
TTA represent Screen and Stage Actors at all levels. From beginners to seasoned professionals. Submitting them for local, interstate and international Stage and Screen opportunities (Casting Networks/Showcast) in Theatre, Film, Television TVC, Voice Over, Commercial and Training Videos. Talent are submitted for opportunities based on their individual ability. From Background Extras parts to Hero Speaking roles.
SINGERS
TTA are lucky to represent some exceptional local Singers from Operatic, Musical Theatre to Contemporary. They are submitted and sometimes even curated with other artists for Live events including Galas, Festivals, Pop up Performances, Weddings and Corporate Events.
MODELS
Throughout the years TTA models have been selected for Live events, Pop up Fashion Parades, Photographic Brand Campaigns, Runway, Festival Acts, Corporate Events and Television Commercials.
DANCERS AND PERFORMING ARTISTS
Submitting talent and choreographing professional performances for work in Live Performance, Galas, Corporate Events, Children's Entertainment Shows, Exposure to interstate and international castings for Musical Theatre & Cruise ship contracts as well as Screen Dance projects.
At the Tasmanian Talent Agency talent is talent! And we love representing all facets of the Arts Industry - From Contemporary and Classically Trained Dancers to the wonderful world of Circus Performance including, Clowns, Acrobats, Trained Animals, Trapeze Acts, Musicians, Dancers, Hoopers, Tightrope Walkers, Jugglers, Magicians, Unicyclists and the list goes on.

The Arts Industry
If you are interested in joining our agency it is vital you understand how the Arts industry works.
Work is rarely consistent even for the professionals,
TTA can never guarantee work for you, as ultimately it is up to the client or casting director to select who is best suited for the job.
The Agent and Talent relationship is a two way street.
Responsiveness to contact is essential. Often jobs work on a tight turn around so we need to hear back from you ASAP. You are allowed to be unavailable! Just let us know.
It is very important to keep us up to date with any changes that may arise, moving interstate, holidays and update photos regularly especially if your appearance changes.
Guardian Approval
If you are under 18 years of age you must have your guardians approval and presence throughout this process.
Administration Fee
If after your interview, you are invited to be represented; there is a one-off fee to cover initial administration and profile set up costs.
$110.00 inc GST if you join within 14 days of your meeting with us.
$165.00 inc GST if you join any-time after this time.
(If you are already registered with the local Casting service TAS CASTING
$44.00 will be deducted from your joining fee at the time of registration.)
Commission Rates
As all agents do, TTA take a percentage on the work they represent their talent for.
TTA commission rates are at industry standard, vary slightly for different jobs and are stipulated in your contract and meeting with us.
YOUR JOINING STEPS
Step One ~ Introduce yourself!
Complete the link at the bottom of this page. Please include all requested information and any additional information that we should know about you. You will receive an Information Pack from admin@tastalent.com within 30 days.
Step Two ~ Your Information Pack.
This will include our Introduction Video and accompanying Information Document. This information will assist you understanding how our agency works, an indication of the services we offer as your agent.
Step Three ~ We need to meet you!
When working together at TTA it is important to form a personal relationship so it is vital for us to meet you. We will schedule a private Zoom meeting and send through the TTA Contract for you to review. Any questions can be raised during your meeting.
A MUST before we meet you...read the Frequently Asked Questions link above. This will ensure that your allotted time with us is spent on you as an individual rather than general questions you can have answered conveniently for you here.
Step Four ~ Lets Make it official.
If you do then wish to Join TTA its time to Sign your TTA contract, pay the one time administration Fee and complete your database information link.
